Book early to avoid dissapointment.

Join us for our 4nd Sponsored Walk up Snowdon, this year raising funds for the Vegan Organic Network.

Meet for the walk on Saturday 30th July 9.00am Pen-Y-Pass YHA  for 10.00am start.

The walk finishes at Pen-y-Pass YHA with a hot meal and drinks at the bar!

Last year was a great success; we walked up Snowdon taking in the spectacular scenery making new friends, sharing food and our vision of a cruelty free world.

This year we are hiring the YHA at Pen-y-Pass, which is situated at the foot of Snowdon, where we will start our walk. People that are not staying at the hostel will be able to have meals with us and enjoy all the entertainment we are providing. Our information and banners will be on show in the YHA’s cafe, which will be open to the public during the day and have an all vegan menu.

Free cakes for everyone on Snowdon summit.

Our Snowdon Vegan Cake Party promises to be an experience; come along and join in the fun!

We currently hold the world record for the most people eating cake on a mountain (214 people), join us on this years walk and help to set a new world record.

Everyone is welcome on our family friendly walk (or Crib Goch option for experienced walkers/climbers), though you do need to be reasonably fit and know that you can walk the distance, which includes some steep sections, it is after all the biggest mountain in Wales.

Non walkers can catch the Snowdon Mountain Railway train to the summit from Llanberis, train tickets should be booked well in advance(please check which train everyone is taking).

A low level alternative walk is planned if the weather is unsafe.

The weekend  is based at Pen-Y-Pass YHA, which  will be completely vegan and have live music and activities. The YHA is booked for two nights - Friday and Saturday, they will provide an evening meal on Friday, breakfast Saturday morning,  meal Saturday night and breakfast on Sunday. If you want to stay, book early – there are limited places.
